I realize this email is a year old from the exchange so far, but I have a similar situation -- only in my case the hose had a quick disconnect with a check valve to prevent fuel from running out of the hose/pump. Can the nozzle/hose assembly be simply re-attached, or is there more to it than that (assuming no damage to the nozzle, etc.)?
